Eternal Rest grant unto her O Lord and let Perpetual Light shine upon her. May her and all the souls of the faithful departed through the Mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen
Thank you for leaving us a beautiful legacy of your strong faith & love for the Church! I’ll never forget waking up and hearing you pray the rosary at 4am every morning when you spent your summers with us.
You are loved and missed Abuelita! Te quiero mucho!!!
Lately everyone keeps asking me in emails, on facebook and even on twitter where I’ve decided to move, New York City or Los Angels. Well, I’ve decided *drum roll please*……………………………………………
The lucky city is: NYC… until it gets cold, then I want to move to LA during the winter months until mid May or so and then move back to NYC! I know, I know, not very realistic but a girl can dream!!!! lol 😉 Okay, so I have’t really decided yet! At this point the first place (between those two cities) that I can find work/benefactor/some type of income and an apt is where I’ll move. Provision will be the deciding factor!!! So as of now, I still don’t know.

My lastest and most in-depth interview to date is now online: Christopher Closeup Podcast with Tony Rossi. Listen to the two full podcasts in which I share about surviving two attacks by violent criminals and how I’ve learned to forgive my assailants. The first podcast contains details about the second attack (what went on in the ER, my spiritual journey through recovery, etc.) that haven’t been shared before. In the second podcast, I talk about my family, faith and missionary work.

Dear friends, Sorry to leave you hanging on the whole kidney stone/heart thing. Thank you for all of your prayers! Rosario and Dad come out of their respective health concerns free of life-threatening complications. (Thus the slight delay in passing along the info.)
We’ll start with an update on Dad: The heart catheter showed absolutely no blockage, to our great relief. They still aren’t sure what is causing his chest pains, but Dad thinks it could be a hiatal hernia. Apparently several of Dad’s family members have suffered from this particular type of hernia and reported very similar symptoms to what Dad experienced. He has yet to verify his suspicions with the doctor, since it’s not as life-threatening as a heart attack. He is doing well and very grateful that he didn’t have to spend any more time in the hospital, where he was bored out of his mind as he had nothing interesting to read.
If you remember, Rosario was concerned about another kidney stone interfering with her attendance at an event in New Jersey where she was scheduled to share her story. Thanks to your prayers, she was able to keep the pain at a manageable level, and she made it to the event. Rosario’s story of forgiveness ended up being paramount to the retreat. It had an amazing impact on the young people that heard her speak. She still had pain throughout the weekend, and it finally subsided that Sunday evening.
Thank you again for all your continued prayers.
Happy Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary!
“Let not your heart be disturbed . Do not fear sickness, nor any other anguish. Am I not here, who am your Mother? Are you not under my protection? Am I not your health? Are you not happily within my fold? What else do you wish? Do not grieve nor be disturbed by anything.” ~ Our Lady of Guadalupe
Tune in Monday, August 15th to “Catholic Answers Live” with Patrick Coffin to hear my short, 15 minute, interview where I share the story of surviving a robbery & shooting and talk about forgiveness!
*Disclaimer – Patrick mentions I was robbed in broad daylight, which is actually incorrect. The robbery took place at night. Just a little mix up!
